There is so much literature around and I...B"H

There is so much literature around and I usually do lots of chassidic research at the National Library in Jerusalem. Only describing the history of Chassidut is already complicated, as there are various opinions. Even the opinions from chassidic Rabbis or the followers of the Baal Shem Tov differ. My favourite question is: What did the Baal Shem Tov really teach before the Maggid and others made their own interpretations ?

The truth is that today, we are widely unable to define what the Baal Shem Tov really said. Actually there are also books on the subject.

The sources are: Rachel Elior, Emmanuel Etkes and Yitzchak Alfassi.Miriam Woelkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07627379693165339825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1451958387969081740.post-69931339927819486712012-08-02T01:33:00.266+03:002012-08-02T01:33:00.266+03:00What did you base your findings on? Not to say that some of what you said is accurate, but it is a widely accepted opinion that Chassidus brought a new light into the world that was never revealed. I am curious to read your sources myself.mochin rechavimhttp://www.mochinrechavim.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
