He was such a special man. Being that one...B'H

He was such a special man. Being that one of my brothers works in Yad L'Achim, I was very sad when I heard about his passing. He accomplished so much in many areas (fighting assimilation, missionnaries, helping the rescue of Jewish women trapped in Arab villages, etc.). His contribution to Klal Yisroel was immense. What a loss for our people. But as you said, knowing many members of that organization, Yad L'Achim will not die but will continue the huge and vital work started by HaRav Lifshitz.

It is not so well known, but he was a Lubavitcher Chosid from the old-school, and it was the Rebbe who gave him a blessing to create Yad L'Achim and who instructed him how to manage the organization. The Rebbe promised him much success, and B'H, he had many success in his endeavor.

May the Creator bless our people with many other men and women like HaRav Lifshitz zt'l.Moshenoreply@blogger.com
