"Umm al Fachem" - How the "poor" Palestinians live

B"H

How the "poor" Palestinians live around Umm - al - Fachem !

Umm - al - Fachem is a Palaestinian town in northern Israel near Afula.
I took those photos while I was sitting on a bus. Umm - al - Fachem is not located in the Palestinian territories but in Israel.

Barak Hussein Obama demands a building freeze but see how the Palestinians are allowed to build wherever they want.
The world doesn't complain about them !

Breslover Trip to Kever Yosef

B"H

The fight about the grave of Yosef (son of Yaakov) in Shechem (Nablus) has been going on for quite a few years now. Just remember October 2000, when radical Palestinians attacked Kever Yosef and the soldiers protecting it. Eventually the Israeli army gave up the Kever and violent Palestinians took over the compound desecrating Yosef's grave: http://www.nahalat-hevron.org/joseph.htm

Especially the Breslover Chassidim are famous fro their campaigns of reaching the Kever in order to pray there. Sometimes they just walk towards Shechem, their trips are illegal or legal.
This time, however, the trip was legal.

Checkpoint - Machsom

B"H

Despite all kinds of defamation of "Machsom Watch", the "Women in Blue & White" give a totally different report about the daily life of Israeli soldiers who serve at various checkpoints (Hebrew: Machsom). It surely cannot be denied that there are cases of humiliation towards the Palestinians. However, these case don't represent the majority and most times the soldiers at the checkpoints show a more than human behaviour.

At a Checkpoint

Foreign tourists traveling to Bethlehem many times complain that they could just pass the checkpoint within minutes whereas the Palestinian population had to wait an hour and was being yelled at by Israeli soldiers. Those tourists complaining obviously underestimate the terror situation in the Middle East. How many times has a Palestinian women or even a child tried to blow himself up or stab a soldier at a one of the checkpoints ? And those cases justify any thorough search and investigation of Palestinians crossing the border to Israel
