Usually I don't recommend too many books. In case I do, I mostly mention the well - known original authors / topics such as Rashi, Mussar or chassidic issues. With Rabbi Tuvia Singer, however, I want to make an exception because his subject does concern ANYBODY. No matter what his religion is.

Rabbi Tuvia Singer: Why the Church rejects the Talmud

The big room downstairs at the "Israel Center" (Orthodox Union) is always filled with people when Rabbi Tuvia Singer speaks about the manipulation of the church and Christian missionaries. Last week, he gave his third lecture and this time, the subject was "Why the Church rejects the Talmud".
Jews and Christians come to Tuvia Singer's lectures but there are people at the OU Center complaining that the Christians don't just come to his lectures in order to listen but to learn and missionize Jews afterwards.

Rabbi Tuvia Singer started with a brief introduction:
Christian theology is entirely based on the letters of Paul (The Book of Romans). The New Testament itself doesn't contain any theologies or laws. According to Paul, only the "belief in J." is important and brings salvation. NO ONE in this world would be able to fulfill all the 613 Mitzvot but only J., the superhuman, could do so.
As I explained two weeks ago, only Cohanim (Priests) were and will be able to fulfill all the 613 Mitzvot, as many of those Mitzvot include the Temple service. The Christian Meshiach J. was NOT a Cohen and thus not able to fulfill all the Mitzvot !

The Book of Matthew (Chapter 23) is a true source of anti – Semitism. There the Jews are being accused of being responsible for all the murders happening in the Torah. Furthermore, the author(s) of Matthew are not ashamed of blaming the "Perushim – Pharisees" for anything bad happening.

We Jews have two tasks:

1. Keeping the Mitzvot.

2. Building a personal relationship with G - d. This is happening through Mitzvot and Prayer !

Only believing is not enough because we are commanded to fulfill G – d's will – the Torah Mitzvot.

Paul didn't know about the trinity because this concept was only introduced by the church during the 4th century. However, Paul stated that any Gentile having a Brit Milah (circumcision) won't find any salvation in case he depends on this particular Brit Milah. Meaning, when the Gentiles does so in order to fulfill a Mitzvah. Paul strictly rejected all the Mitzvot and whoever ran after them would not find salvation.

Why does the church reject the Talmud ?

First of all, we have to clarify what the Talmud actually is:
The Talmud consists of two parts: The MISHNA (Oral Law) which Moshe received directly from G – d at Mount Sinai. At first, those laws were handed over from generation to generation. Many years later, Rabbi Yehudah HaNasi started to write them down in Hebrew.

The second part of the Talmud is the GEMARA (rabbinic discussions) written mostly in Aramaic with some Hebrew sections. Discussions about the laws and how to fulfill them. Additionally, the Talmud also consists of stories and some mysticism. The church hates the Talmud but doesn't get tired of quoting from it when it comes to prove the "viciousness" of the Jews.

Why do the Jews need the Talmud when all the laws were already stated in the Torah ?

The church announced that it doesn't recognize the Jewish Oral Law.
But is this really true ?
What about the Jewish calendar system ? Doesn't Easter mostly fall on the same date as the Jewish Pessach ? And who stipulates the calendar ? The Rabbis according to the Talmud.
Many Christians love to imitate the Jews in various ways. They even use an Etrog (citrus) on Sukkot. But where does the Etrog come from ? The Torah doesn't speak about it.
The Etrog was introduced by the Rabbis.
How about the Kipa some Christians (and the Pope) also like to wear ?
Introduced by the Rabbis.
How about Shabbat candles and Chanukkah ?
Introduced by the Rabbis and mentioned in the Talmud.
In all these cases, the church acknowledges the Talmud but why do they generally rejects it ?

Those of you looking closer at an original version of the Torah, will notice points below the letters as well as other signs. Those signs were added by the Rabbis in order to ensure that the words were spelled right and not mistakenly used in the wrong way. Today even Christians took over those signs stipulated by the Rabbis.
The making of the Jewish calendar is a science only known to the Rabbis.
G – d promised the Jews in the Torah that a certain knowledge will only be given by Him to the Jews and not to the Gentile nations. The church could never figure out the exact knowledge which makes them upset. This is exactly what G – d promised the Jewish people and the church can do as much as it likes, it will never figure out certain Jewish matters. The Talmud was given to the Jews and even anti – Semites like Martin Luther weren't able to decode Jewish issues.

Furthermore, the Talmud gives us all the details about how to fulfill various Mitzvot. Many procedures of Mitzvot are not mentioned in the Torah at all. For instance, how to write a Ketubah (marriage contract), how to do the sacrifices (Korbanot) or what exactly Rosh HaShana means. The Torah only calls this Jewish holiday "a day of blowing" but not "a day of judgement".

G – d makes it very clear in His Torah that the Jews will never disappear. There will always be Jews, as long as our world exists. Even if His people sins, G – d will always be on the side of His chosen nation.
Ezra criticized the Jews of Jerusalem for marrying Gentile (Canaanite) women and commanded them to leave their non – Jewish wives and children. From here we learn that a child is Jewish when his mother is Jewish.

Tuvia Singer explained that Jews should never use the New Testament proving Christian missionaries wrong. Not in the sense of quoting from the Gospels and proving one Gospel wrong because another Gospel claims something else. "Never use an unholy object for holy purposes !"

Those Jews who try changing the Torah and "modernize" it, as the reform movement did, will take a step towards their own destruction. Where are all the Reformers from a hundred years ago ? Where is their offspring ? Many of their descendants intermarried and disappeared in the Gentile world. The only way of telling who is a Jew is telling if your grandchildren are pious Jews keeping Torah Mitzvot.

I didn't really participate in Tuvia Singer's last lecture taking place this Sunday. When I arrived at the "Israel Center", I felt like learning something Jewish and not another page of the Book of Matthew. Soon we are going to celebrate Rosh HaShana and , as a Jew, I don't feel like learning Christian messianic stuff.

What I noticed at a few lectures:
A certain convert to Judaism who had been formerly deeply involved in Christianity seemed to enjoy herself hearing all her old theologies. I have noticed quite a few times that converts to Judaism who were extremely believing Christians in their former lives, still love to discuss Christian topics. As soon as they see a Christian, they sit down next to him with the hope that he may speak to them.
Unfortunately, many converts to Judaism never really loose touch with their previous religion. They simply cannot let go and keep on reading messianic sites. They like to justify those acts by claiming that they are now hunting Christian missionaries but with many of those I am having my doubts.

Rabbi Tuvia Singer: How Missionaries use "Sefer Daniel 9:1-24

Last Sunday, at his second session, Rabbi Tuvia Singer described how the church twisted The verses in the Book of Daniel (Sefer Daniel) 9:1 - 24.

I have to say that I sometimes cannot follow his lectures because as soon as Christian ideas or interpretations are being described, I am completely lost. It just doesn't get into my head that people can be that ignorant to believe what the church is selling them. Ordinary people who have never seen an original copy of a Torah or the Prophets.

Tuvia Singer pointed out that the "Book of Matthew" was written by different authors and the quotations Matthew brings from the Torah are mostly changed.

Those Jews living in the Babylonian exile were not exposed to Christianity. After many years, the Torah copies of those Jews, Yemenite Jews and European Jewry were compared and Rabbis found out that hardly any differences have appeared. Meaning there were only very few changes in the spelling. Everything else was the same although the Jews from Europe and, for instance, Yemen were not at all in touch. This, however, is a proof that the Jews always kept the original version of the Torah and never made changes. But look at the Christian world where you have hundreds of different translations and interpretations. How can there be any true meaning in their scriptures ?

In his second lecture of a whole series, Tuvia Singer particularly referred to the Book of Daniel 9: 1 - 24 and pointed out how the church uses it for its evil purposes.

Please note beforehand that the word "Meshiach" only appears a very few times times in the Torah. Mainly in Vayikra (Leviticus) describing the Cohanim being anointed.
Rabbi Tuvia Singer said that if we went back with a time machine and met some people from the Temple periods, they wouldn't know what we are talking about in case we were telling them about our understanding of Meshiach. In those days, Meshiach had a complete different implication and the concept we know today, didn't really exist. Hundreds of people were anointed then and for the people "Meshiach" simply meant someone anointed.

In Daniel 9:24 it says:

"Seventy weeks have been decreed upon your people and your holy city to terminate transgression, to end sin, to wipe away iniquity, to bring everlasting righteousness, to seal vision and prophet, and to anoint the Holy of Holies".

Tuvia Singer stated that " weeks" here means YEARS !
One week stands for 7 years. Thus, those seventy years mentioned are really 490 years. The source that "weeks" stands for "years" is to be found in II Chronicles 36:21 - 23. The "Seventy Weeks" refer to the Shmittah years. The "Mezudat David" commentates to Daniel 9:24: The seven Shemittot make up the number 490 years. The Babylonian exile lasted 70 years and the Second Temple stood for 420 years. Also Rabbi Saadia Gaon referred to those weeks as years (see commentary of Ibn Ezra to Daniel 9:24).

In his handout, Tuvia Singer writes:

"7 Weeks (of years) - The angel Gabriel reassured Daniel that after a full "7 weeks", or 49 years had passed - counting from "the going forth of the WORD (DAVAR), which is from the destruction of Jerusalem (9:2) - an anointed ruler would enable the Jewish people to return and rebuild Jerusalem (9:25). Indeed, a short time after 49 years had passed, Cyrus, who G - d declared as His "anointed one", (Yeshayahu - Isaiah 45:1), gave the orders to return and rebuild Jerusalem and the holy sanctuary (Yeshayahu - Isaiah 44:28 - 45:1, 13); Ezra 1:2 - 3; II Chronicles 36:22 - 23).

In Daniel 9:25, the Hebrew original text refers to AN ANOINTED PRINCE whereas the Christian King James Version writes about THE MESHIACH. Here the prophecy is referring to Koresh, the Persian King (see Rashi on Daniel).

Somehow the Christians see in this verse their false Meshiach J. but I don't understand how. The time the text is referring to has nothing to do with the time of J. !

Yesterday I went to the Israeli anti – missionary organization in order to investigate some issues. Someone there told me that Christians love to quote from the Talmud but don't even believe in the oral law. They just take some quotes out of context in order to use it against the Jews. If you don't believe in the oral law, so don't quote from it and don't twist it !

Furthermore, Christians only look at the Peshat in Torah; at the simple meaning. In Judaism, we look at the whole Pardes: 1. Peshat, 2. Drash (interpretation), 3. Remez (hint, what does it say between the lines) and 4. the Sod (secret, hidden meaning of a text).

Christians however look at a simple meaning and relate it to their own thoughts and make ups. Thus, they don't see the real meaning but understand the entire Tanach wrong.

Rabbi Tuvia Singer: Why Christians believe that the Torah is invalid ?

This Sunday, Rabbi Tuvia Singer started his new lecture series at the "Israel Center (OU) in Jerusalem. Tuvia Singer is famous for bringing Jews who had converted to Christianity back to their Jewish roots and for discovering the lies of the church within the Christian New Testament.

The hall where he gave the first of a four – part lecture series was full and some people interested even stood outside in the hallway. Christians were also there and it was clear that some of them really wanted to hear what the original Jewish sources say.
Rabbi Tuvia Singer began with the American politician Pat Robertson who is a fundamental Evangelist who ran for presidency a few years ago. Tuvia Singer stressed that "fundamental" in this context stands for "sticking to one's religious roots and traditions".

Pat Robertson was once interviewed by a Jewish journalist who asked him if Jews not believing in J. would all go to hell. Robertson answered with a snag which the journalist didn't notice.

"If the Jews keep all 613 Mitzvot and don't sin, they will be saved because the keep the Mosaic law".

I admit that I am having serious difficulties understanding Christian ideology and expressions. Not only me but someone from the audience asked what this means "to be saved". Saved from what ?
"From the fire in hell", replied Tuvia Singer. It says in Christian sources that someone not believing would go to hell. He gave the exact sources but I must admit that I didn't write them down, as I am not interested in such crazy ideas and terminology. I just don't get such schizophrenic concepts which have absolutely nothing do to with Judaism but are only based on a Jew – hating Hellenist called the Apostle Paul.

Tuvia Singer said that Christianity doesn't believe that there could be any human being on this planet keeping the 613 Mitzvot. Only J. could do so and this is why people need him and thus will be saved. Christians are not bound to Mitzvot and just have to believe.

An easy lazy concept, isn't it ? Sounds great to me. I have nothing to do but only believe in a freaky hippie.

According to Judaism, Gentiles only have to keep the Seven Noachide Laws and not any Mitzvot given to the Jews. Furthermore, hardly any Jew is bound to the entire 613 Mitzvot because many of those laws concern the Temple services of the Cohanim (Priests). Other Mitzvot only apply to men and women are freed from them.
The false Meshiach J. was not a Cohen and thus didn't keep the entire 613 Mitzvot ! He was a human being and humans tend to sin. According to Jewish theology, every human being is able to do Teshuva (to repent). Without any J. as a medium, without any blood and all this stuff the church claims. The only condition you have to fulfill is regretting your deeds in a serious manner and try doing it better in the future.

After all this, the logical question is coming up, why G – d gave the Mitzvot if no human is able to keep them ?
The church developed a convincing idea which sounds stupid at the same time:
The Jews should look at all the Mitzvot and realize themselves that keeping all this impossible !

Why are particularly Jews vulnerable and convert to Christianity ?
In the days of Paul, many Jews living in Rome converted to Christianity and when Paul addresses his letters (Romans) then he is talking to those Jews who converted.
Rabbi Tuvia Singer made the claim that Jews with a low self – esteem are more vulnerable than others. J. was rejected by his own people and even by his family. If a Jew today is feeling rejected or in a crisis, he may look at J. and take him as an example.

My claim, however, is that many Jews have a total lack of Jewish education and identity. They want to be just as everyone else, intermarry and if the wife is a Christian, a whole future generation is gone. The children are not Jewish anymore.
Secular as well as reform Jews have no clue about Judaism and are widely not interested. The biggest mistakes those people make is thinking that any Orthodox Jews has to be haredi and live in Boro Park, Golders Green or Mea Shearim.
In order to get rid of intermarriage and Jews running away from their roots, those people should first try getting some Jewish education and then decide.

Tuvia Singer quoted Romans 3:20, where Paul says that those keeping the law are actually sinning. Nobody can get salvation only through himself but needs J. and the belief in him – according to the church. Here the church totally ignored the sentences in Sefer Devarim (Deuteronomy) 30:12 – 14.
Already in 30:11, G – d says that the law is understandable. In Devarim 29:28 it says that the Torah is eternal. Furthermore it says that all hidden things are for G – d. Meaning that only G – d knows the future and to us, this is hidden. No matter where Jews live, they are bound to the Mitzvot and to the Land of Israel (Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch in his Torah commentary).
The Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin 43b teaches that every Jew carries the responsibility to keep the Torah. The Torah has to become reality within Judaism.

To be honest, Tuvia Singer's church quotes irritated me. Someone who knows the subject and is aware of various falsifications of the church may have it much easier but to me all this sounded just totally ridiculous. How can people believe this at all ?
In his days, Paul just changed the Torah content, put everything into his own words according to his fantasy and imagination.

I am not going into details but just giving a further brief example:

In Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31:30 – 32, it speaks about a "new union". The church interpreted this as J. is coming and making a "new Brit". Wrong !

The truth is that this verse is talking about the future. It speaks about a union between the House of Israel and the House of Yehudah (Judah). This particular event hasn't occurred yet and will only happen in the messianic future when the TRUE Jewish Meshiach is coming.

Many Christians may feel offended while reading this. However, just check out everything yourself by taking an Artscroll Torah (Chumash) and comparing it to your Christian translation. Then you will notice all the mistranslations of Paul and the church. Mistranslations taking place on purpose because otherwise there would be too many obvious contradictions and Christians would get suspicious.

I am really looking forward to these events, as Tuvia Singer is brilliant in showing Christians where they went wrong and how the church has been manipulating them and the Torah over the past 2000 years.

In his lecture series, Tuvia Singer is concentrating on how the church did tamper with the Book of Daniel and Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu). Why did missionaries alter the words of the Prophet Isaiah (Yeshayahu) and why Christianity rejects the Oral Law.

Personally I find Tuvia Singer talking far too friendly about the Evangelist Hagee and other leading missionizing Christians. However, Singer delivers fascinating insights on how the church has been lying throughout its existence.

"Jews are going to Hell !" – Tuvia Singer, Part 4

After two brilliant lectures, Tuvia Singer seemed to be much weaker last night. Many subjects he mentioned were mostly a repetition from the week before. Nevertheless, Tuvia had a few good points I would like to list.

The lecture hall at Jerusalem's "Israel Center" was crowded but not as much as the three times before. What I noticed it was that only very few Christians showed up this time. The lecture turned into an almost entire Jewish event.

Tuvia Singer zoomed right into the subject and stated that there are 1000 messianic communities worldwide. The goal of the "Jews for J." is to missionize Jews and turn them into believing Christians. In local phone books, messianic communities are not listed under "churches" but under "synagogues". Their structure doesn't make sense at all, as the majority of their members are not Jewish but of Christian origin. There are ideas and communities where only Jews take over leading positions in messianic communities and keep the Christians as "slaves".

"When You are Jewish and don't believe in J. as Your Meshiach, then you will go to hell !"

"If you don't accept J. as Your Meshiach, you cannot be saved. The consequence will be You burning in hell !"

These statements are supported by all churches and I don't need to explain the meaning any further.
I am going to hell and that's it !
According to the church, there is no discussion about it.

Singer took the Nazi killer Adolph Eichmann as an example.
Shortly before his execution in the Israeli town of Ramle, Eichmann confessed in the presence of a Catholic priest and thus, was saved from hell. At least according to church theology, he went straight to Paradise (Gan Eden).
The millions of Jews being killed in the Holocaust, however, went to hell because they didn't accept J, as their Meshiach.

What does the Pope have to say about this ? What would Martin Luther say ?
Well, Luther didn't care much about the Jews anyway and had been of the greatest anti – Semites ever. The Catholic church doesn't get tired of proclaiming Pope Pius as a saintly. He helped all the Jews and was so terribly holy.
But what the Vatican after the Second World War did was helping people like Eichmann to escape to South America. Organizing false papers and letting the leading Nazis run away. The Vatican ran a special department for such cases. Everything run by the Pope.
It is irrelevant what the Pope or Luther say but what does G – d say about such a ridiculous concept ? Has one of the church fathers ever raised this question ? Did G – d say that if we don't accept a false Meshiach J., we would end up in hell ?

Christianity is irrelevant to Judaism but Judaism is relevant to Christianity, as it is based on it. Where would the church be without the Jews ? There wouldn't even be a Meshiach, as J. was Jewish.
However, a Gentile should not become part of Christianity and thus, worship idols. A non – Jew should always be a Noachide. Knowing ONE G – d and not believing in any J. !

The churches love to accuse the Rabbis of all evil in this world. Countless Christians told me that Talmudic Rabbis and others first killed J. and then they have been brainwashing the Jews through Halachot because they don't want them to see the "truth".
Well, we all can imagine what their truth is.

Christians don't believe in Jewish Halacha (law) and according to Paul, anything was evil and devil's work anyway.
When anything Jewish is evil and bad, how come the New Testament is based on Judaism and its Torah ? Why is Easter falling together with Pessach (Passover) ?
Doesn't this show that even Chrisians are going according to the Jewish calendar ? Otherwise Easter could be in November.
And who is making up the Jewish calendar ?
The Rabbis.

What is happening when the Meshiach is coming ? What if there are people who don't agree that he really is Meshiach ?
According to Judaism, this could never be the case because, as soon as Meshiach is arriving, the whole world will be on a higher spiritual level and we won't question him. We won't even get such an idea, as we are on a level we have never been before. There won't be any doubt and this is one of the signs for the true Meshiach. .
Why have neither King David nor his son Salomon mentioned any J. in their prophecies ? Does G – d stress in the Torah that, as soon the Meshiach shows up, we have to accept him, otherwise we are going to hell ? There is no such a statement !

Tuvia Singer further mentioned that we have to take the Christian way of thinking into consideration. It may sound absurd to Jews but Christians (especially Catholics) drink J.'s blood, eat the piece of wafer and thus believe that now J. is part of them. Eating his flesh and drinking his blood is like J. entering their bodies. Such a weird concept had already taken place before; in pagan religions.

The subject "Shabbat" was mentioned as well. "Non – Jews are not allowed to keep the Shabbat laws !" Those special Halachot are only meant for the Jews, as the Shabbat is a special covenant between G – d and the Jews. As a matter of fact, it says in the Talmud that in G – d's eyes, a non – Jew keeping Shabbat is worth than a Jew not keeping Shabbat.
G – d has His ways to prevent other nations from choosing the Saturday as a day of rest. The Christians chose the Sunday and the Muslims chose the Friday. Only the Jews stick to the Saturday as Shabbat.
Adventists may claim that they do keep Shabbat. However, they don't keep the Shabbat Halachot.

These explanations why Jews don't accept the Christian Meshiach are not in order to spread hatred against Christians or other people but just to show that especially Christians follow the wrong concepts. According to the Jewish point of view, any Gentile should be following the Seven Noachide Laws.

After Pessach (Passover), Tuvia Singer is planning to continue his series. Then with deeper lectures about the sayings of the Prophets such as Isiah (Yeshayahu), Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu), Zechariah, Micha, and others.

The third session held by Tuvia Singer took place at the Orthodox Union (Israel Center) in Jerusalem. There, Tuvia Singer is giving a four week lecture series on why Jews don't believe in the Christian Meshiach. And, as usual, at least a hundred people had found their way into the lecture hall. The interest is enormous and also Christians were invited. Many members of the Israel Center, however, weren't too excited of having Christians in the building and there was a controversy before the series.

Among the participants was Benjamin Kluger, a staff member of the Israeli counter missionary organization "Yad LeAchim". The fact catching my eye was that many Christians had put on some kind of a Jewish appearance. Either a Kipa and even Zizit. Some of the Christian women had covered their hair with a typical Israeli Midpachat.
Either they don't want to openly appear as Christians but, otherwise, many Christian dress up Jewish on purpose in order to undermine their claim that they are Jewish. Telling other Jews that they (the Christians) are Jews as well in order to missionize for Jews for J. The worst is when they start going on your nerves and embraces the Jews just because they are Jewish. Then this turns into too much "love" and those kind of Christians just start becoming a pain in the neck.

And just like in the previous articles about the Singer series, I want to emphasize that Judaism doesn't reject anyone. No Gentile following the Seven Noachide Laws (believing in ONE G - d, setting up a court system, no murder, no theft, no sexual perversion, no idol worship and not eating a limb from a living animal) and all of those have a place in the World to Come (Olam HaBah). However, believing in J. is not a part of the Seven Noachide Laws. There is only ONE G - d and no son or further representative.

Tuvia Singer started his lecture by stressing that Jews have to understand that there are countless Christian groups and split offs. Much more than in Judaism such as Orthodox, Reform, etc. We Jews mostly tend to look at our own religions and think that all the others work the same way but we are mistaken. Why do Jews not believe in the Christian Meshiach ? This was the main question which is being repeatedly discussed. Last Sunday night, in his third session, Singer explained Christian theology with its blood, sin and hell concept. The church here claims a Passuk (verse) from the Book of Leviticus (Sefer Vayikra) 17:11, teaching about the Temple sacrifices. All the time blood and only blood - this is how the church interprets the Passuk from the Torah. Only through the blood man is awaking G - d's mercy and find salvation.

To this statement alone I would have a lot to say and it is always an amazing how the church misinterprets sayings from the Torah. Misinterpreting and faking in order to keep the members in the church. There are always Christians who are seriously searching for a relationship with G - d but are being lied at from the church leaders. How is a Christian raised regarding his belief ?
Anything he hears about Torah, it undergoes an inner "Christian filter". This is how Christians are taught to think - through their church filter and it always takes some time until they are open to listen and to start understanding different ideologies and ideas. The church doesn't allow a thinking person to ask questions and claims that only believe would be enough. Judaism teaches its members to think and to ask questions.

In order to reach G – d's salvation (pardon), NO sacrifice has to be brought ! And sacrificing people is totally rejected and forbidden by Him. At several places, the Torah forbids idol worship sacrifices such as offering human beings. Usually Christians then refer to the story with Avraham and Yitzchak where the father went out to sacrifice his son. This is true but for Avraham it was nothing else but a test and G – d didn't want him to sacrifice his son at all. In Judaism, Teshuva (repentance) can be done by Zedakah (donations), prayer (Tefilah), or the inner regret of having done something wrong. There is no need for a sacrifice in a Temple and, by the way, the majority of sacrifices in the two Jewish Temples were not given because of sin (the Chatat) but because of the love to G – d (e.g. the Olah). Furthermore, the Chata was brought by unintentional sins.

Even the Tanach (Torah, Prophets and Writings) lists us these different ways of Teshuva and causing G – d's salvation. After the Second Temple had been destroyed, we are not allowed to bring any more sacrifices until Meshiach is building the Third Temple. Once the Third Temple is build. The Cohanim (Priests) will continue bringing the sacrifices.
But let us have a closer look at the word "sacrifice – korban (in Hebrew)". The word "korban" comes from the verb "lehitkarev" meaning getting / coming closer to something / someone. Hence, through a sacrifice we are getting closer to G – d. I can bring offerings as many as I want but the most important character trait is to honestly regret. Without regret my sacrifice is worth nothing ! And regret not only includes regret for what I have done in the past but also the intention not to repeact the act in the future. The inner way of Teshuva is accepted, even without any sacrifice in a Temple. And this is the Teshuva King David did after the incident with Batsheva; he cried out to G – d for forgiveness.

One thing we have to keep in mind:
G – d is a merciful G – d and our tears and our Teshuva (repentance) finds more acceptance by Him and more precious to Him than a few dead animals in the Temple. Kabbalistically speaking, those animals sacrificed in the Temple included reincarnated souls (Neshamot) and as soon as the animals were sacrificed, their soul was risen to a higher level and thus received a complete Tikun (soul rectification).

Further verses from the Tanach faked by the church:

1. Matthew 1 talks about a "virgin birth". This concept is not new at all, as many ancient pagan religions mention a virgin birth in connection their gods. However, Matthew had a little problem because in Yeshayahu (Isiah) is speaks about a "YOUNG WOMAN". A young woman doesn't necessarily have to be a virgin.
What did the church do ?
They faked the words in Isiah and turned the original text "YOUNG WOMAN" into a "VIRGIN". The church faked the context in order to J. into the Tanach. Due to the new meaning, Jews were killed in pogroms for many centuries. Only some years ago, the catholic admitted that the original words actually talk about a "young woman" and NOT about a "virgin". At the same time, the church added the theology that J. has to come a second time.
How ridiculous ! If J. was G –d, he wouldn't have to show up a second time in order to prove that He is Meshiach or G – d. Who could more fulfill the Torah than him ? The idea of a "second coming" is absolutely absurde !

Another example of how the church is playing with the Torah:

2. Tehillim (Psalm) 40, where King David speaks about G – d opening his ears. The church changed "ears" into "body" in order to hint to J. ? Does everyone of you understand what the church did ? They faked the Torah and turned it into something else !
Every simple bank clerk would go to jail for faking an account.

Christians think through a Christian filter and they mostly concentrate their thoughts on salvation and on being saved. They are terribly afraid of being rejected and go to hell. But even the Torah mentions different ways offering G – d's salvation. The worst fact is that, as a Jew, you will hardly find a believing Christian listening to you. And even if so, it is taking a long time for the Christian to understand you. A Jew can simply not argue with a Christian while using his ARTSCROLL Torah or Sidur, as the Christian is showing up with one of the faked church translations.

And as Yeshayahu (Isiah) 55 + 57 says:
"Search G – d wherever He is found, and call for Him when He is near !"
G – d offers salvation and receiving it can take place in many different ways. Furthermore, G – d says: "My thoughts are not your thoughts". Human beings always tend to think that G – d must think the way we think but He has different ways we don't understand.

Conclusion: There is no need for sacrifices, as we can repent and receive G – d's mercy without blood but through honest regret. With a prayer coming from the heart or with a donation.

And what about the "Son of G – d ?"
We are all sons of G – d because it was Him creating us. This, we should never forget and Christians having further questions can ask Tuvia Singer directly:

Christianity: A Religion based on Lies

What is happening if I am a non - Jew ? How do I fit into the Jewish concept of G - d ?
The answer is very simple: According to Judaism (Talmud Sanhedrin), every person in this world is able to achieve his place in Olam Habah (the World to Come). A Gentile usually has to keep the Seven Noachide Laws (Sheva Mitzwot Bnei Noach) and they do NOT include the believe in Mr. J. The Rambam (Maimonides) saw Christianity as complete idol worship. A human becomes G - d. How can that be ?
Other Sages don't consider Christianity as total idolatry but rather as a hint in order to know that there is a Torah and the G - d concept. One creator of the whole universe and all being.
This statement doesn't mean that Christianity is accepted; not at all and in the times of Meshiach, Christians will realize that they had the concept of one G - d but they interpreted it wrong.
Generally speaking, in Judaism no one is excluded and everyone has been created by G - d and thus has a place in the World to Come.

Last Sunday, Rabbi Tuvia Singer gave his second lecture (in a four lecture series) about the tactics of Christian missionaries. In particular, he talks about the Evangelists and other fundamentalist American Christian groups. Nevertheless, his topics and the subject as a whole concern any Christian in the world, as most people don't know facts and have never ever thought about asking. Furthermore, ALL Jews should learn the tactics Christian missionaries use against them. It is extremely important to know his own religion and only then you are able to argue and recognize the real beauty of Judaism.

Before Tuvia Singer started his lecture at the Jerusalem's Israel Center (Orthodox Union), I was told by Benjamin Kluger (from the Israeli anti - missionary organization YAD LEACHIM) that Christianity is based on lies. The churches do anything in their power to tell make up stories and commentaries in order to keep people believing in Christianity.

Tuvia Singer was in a great performing mood and when I called his last session boring, this time he was just brilliant. He started his lecture with a story from the Dubnover Maggid. The Christians listening to the lectures (the Israel Center had also allowed non - Jews in) got really excited. The moment they hear something chassidic which may turn out spiritual, their faces start shining. The story was about a king's son who escaped the palace, went into a forest and saw arrow targets on several trees. The arrow was always a big shot and right in the middle of the target. Some time later, the son found the person doing this and he thought that the guy as a Superman. The guy just laughed and said that he first shoots an arrow and then draws the target around it.
And this is the same with Christianity.
At this moment, most Christian smiling faces froze.

American Evangelists had another congress where one of their leaders claimed that G - d doesn't listen to the Jews praying.
So, to whom did Avraham then pray and who spoke to him ? Has the congress discussed the issue or even thought about it ?
To whom did our forefather speak and pray if not to G - d. The forefathers, including Avraham were Jewish, by the way.

Throughout the history of Christianity and the church, two things happened:

1. The Tanach (Torah, Prophets and Writings) were put in a shape where the whole story with J. fits. Everything was adjusted in order to make other people believe that J. is mentioned in the Tanach.
Fact is, that J. is NOT at all mentioned anywhere in the Tanach. Not even in a hidden way !

2. J.'s life and his whole being was adjusted or re - written so that it would fit into the Tanach.

How church and missionaries work and try to sound convincing ?
They love to take Bible verses out of context and mix in into something new. Changing the meaning of words and original concepts. In other word, their whole acting is a fake.

The Book of Matthew

Why are there constant quotes from the Book of Mathew ? Because the church claims that Matthew (the author of the book) was a Jew. And all the books of the New Testament are aimed at different people. For instance, Luke is there to convince the Greeks and Matthew has the task to convince the Jews.

By the way, I was tremendously surprised how many Jews knew all those facts Tuvia Singer presented. I had never heard about that before.

Fact is that the author of the Book of Matthew is UNKNOWN ! The book may have been written approx. in the year 85, and it was strongly addressed to the Jews. This is the reason why Matthew quotes from the Torah and claims prophecy.

Tuvia Singer presented different verses twisted around by the church. From Matthew and Hoshea where a verse is, again, taken out of context and claims the mentioning of J.
In reality, the Jewish people are mentioned and NOT J.

Especially the Book of Prophetes make it very clear and speaks about the special connection between G - d and His people, the Jews. Have a look into the Book of Zecharia it says that the day will come when the Gentiles will come to the Jews and admit that they had been wrong.

The problem is that most people don't know Hebrew and don't see the real meaning of a verse. There are countless of different translations in Christianity and each Bible says something else. The church changes the meaning of a word in order to receive a brand new message. In favour of J., of course.

Some Christians just sit there confused and others look angry but keep quiete. Instead of challenging Tuvia Singer they keep quiet and walk out. Why has non of them the guts to say something ? Does any of them start thinking and questioning the church at all ? Or is it just only believe ?

In Judaism we don't only sit and believe but we search for G - d, question and do Mitzwot. It is an active religion where each of us is involved. Not just lean back and fake contexts.

Next Sunday night, Tuvia Singer is going to teach about the Christians and their fight against the Talmud.

Before I start writing about the latest Tuvia Singer lecture, which was brilliant, by the way, I would like to give you a short fact and also a thought.

When I walked down to the Israel Center (OU) to the Tuvia Singer lecture last night, I met Benjamin Kluger from Yad LeAchim. We both happened to have the same way and walked down together.

While we were talking about different Christian missionary tactics, Benjamin made a very important point: Christianity is built on a lie. !
The church, its pastors, priests, nuns, whatever you want to call the staff, lies in order to get new people in or to keep the others like sheep. Those studying the original version of the Torah, Christians call it Bible, cannot believe any claims of the church let alone the false ideology of Paul.

Tonight is the second session with Tuvia Singer talking at the Jerusalem Israel Center (OU). I hope that it won't be as boring as last Sunday !

The OU (Israel Center) in Jerusalem had announced a lecture with the, among the Anglos, well - known radio speaker (Arutz 7) Tuvia Singer. Singer is American, he made Aliyah not too long ago and lives in the Old City of Jerusalem. His profession is helping Jews for J. out of churches and bringing them back to Judaism.

Last night, a four - week - lecture series started at the Israel Center and more than a hundred people showed up to listen to what Tuvia Singer had to say about Christianity and its missionaries. The room was already packed when I came and one elderly guy behind me said to his neighbour that he had only shown up because there was heating and his house was cold. "Well, I thought, this is a nice start".

Singer and someone else sitting beside him on the little podium started on time. But not Singer spoke but the second guy. I looked around and discovered two bodyguards. One with a rather hitman face standing behind the podium and the other had a baby face. At least his bald head fit to a baby.

Wow, I thought, they may be expecting violence or wild aggressive Christians freaking out. This could be interesting".
I didn't get the name of the guy sitting next to Tuvia Singer while he was telling us his story. The lecture was scheduled for two hours; for one hour, only this no - name guy spoke.
He told us his private story of how his parents converted from Judaism to Christianity while he was only two years old. In between, he didn't get tired of mentioning how important his family once in the Brazilian army was. However, he was from Fort Lauderdale and later, he had moved to Houston.

He told us about the Evangelists, churches, Bible classes and then how he moved to Texas in order to start a gas and oil company. This was in 2003. Then he went on how he found Tuvia, how great Tuvia was, how great Tuvia was, how great Tuvia was … and on and on. Eventually he came back to Judaism, thanks to beloved Tuvia, sold his famous and rich oil company (he claimed to have discovered the biggest oil and gas field in the history of Texas !) and made Aliyah to Israel. Then he walked out together with hitman and baby face. He really wanted to show us his status.

His way of talking made me tired. Have you ever noticed that those Jews coming back to Judaism and had been fundamental Christians before, still talk like a Christian preacher ? No matter how Jewish they get, there is still the way to talk like a preacher. The same, by the way, with Pnina Taylor from the Jerusalem branch of "Jews for Judaism".
As soon as I hear them talking, I think I am in a church.
(This remark was not against Jews coming back to Judaism. Chas veChalilah, but rather pointed at a certain kind of behaviour) !!!

After the guy had finished, and people had already complained about him never finishing, Tuvia Singer began his lecture. He looked like he wants to sell something; blue shirt, red tie, standing straight and proud. However, the product wasn't offered last night but maybe next time.

I was so sleepy due to the previous speaker but Singer made a few good points. "If you think that Christian missionaries are only showing up in groups, you are wrong. This is the typical Jewish way of thinking. Christians approach a Jew as individuals and this is important to understand".

Someone asked why the Christians don't get that the church is interpreting the Torah wrong. "Just be logical and ask questions. How can you believe all this things the priests make up ?"
"For two reasons, Singer responded. First of all, what does a good Christian mother tell her little girl when she brings her to bed ? - J. loves you.
Their whole life they are being indoctrinated by such thoughts and ideologies. When they are in church they pray to J. and not to G - d. Christians grow up with a certain way of thinking and looking at the Bible (Torah). It is very hard to change their minds and understand the real meaning of the Torah. Taking them away from their ideology is almost impossible. They are so much into it that they don't see anything else.

The second reason is false translations of the Torah. Every context is adjusted to fit into Christian doctrine. Do American universities teach any Hebrew ? How many Christians actually learn Hebrew in order to understand the original version of the Torah and thus realize the translation mistakes ?"

If I liked the lecture ?
Tuvia Singer has definitely something to say and he announced that next Sunday, he will be teaching text; how the church faked original teachings into church ideologies. Nevertheless, if Singer would stick more to the point and not concentrate on making private jokes and getting astray with other stories, the lecture would improve.

Concerning the oil guy with the two bodyguards:
He was totally unnecessary and I hardly believed anything he said. Was this a show about claiming all his wealth and how great he was ? And if so, why did he do that ? What did he intend proving to us ? That he is great ?
Someone asked him what company he owned but there was no response.

I also do have my doubts with such people including Pnina Taylor. They just recently left Christianity. And I am not talking about "normal simple" Christianity but the "Hallelu - ya" screams, talking in tongues and being a fanatic Evangelist. Even a missionary as Taylor used to be.
Aready two years later they start teaching other Jews ? What do they know ? Shouldn't they be rather studying themselves ?

I experienced it a few times that those ex - Jews for J. don't know much about Judaism yet, however, as soon as they talk about Christianity, they get really excited.

Next Sunday, I will be at the lecture again and see how it goes. Is it as boring as last night, then this is it for me.
