The chassidic world today:
- One of the Bnei Braker Vishnitzer Rebbes, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager, is going to visit the Rebbe of Chassidut Seret - Vishnitz (in Haifa) today. Further plans: Visiting Rabbi David Abuchazeira in Nahariya and praying at the grave of the Rashbi (Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai) in Meron.
- "Wort" in the Shomrei Emunim for the grandchild of Rebbe Avraham Chaim Roth. Her Chatan (groom) is going to be the grandchild of the Mishkenot HaRoim Rebbe.
- The Gavad of Jerusalem, the head of the Edah HaCharedit, Rabbi Yitzchak Tuviah Weiss, is going to visit the Skverer Rebbe (New Square) as well as the Satmarer Rebbe in Kiryat Yoel.
- Simchat Brit Milah (the great - grandchild of Rabbi Natan Gestetner) in Vishnitz.
- Simchat Brit Milah (grandchild of the Rebbe and child of his son Rabbi Shlomo Biderman) in Lelov (Bnei Brak).

Is that Rav Gestetner the Rosh Yeshiva? Is he a Vishnitzer Chosid? The Rosh Yeshiva has a very, very sweet voice. Don't know if you've ever heard him sing.

ReplyDeleteAs far as I know is Rabbi Gestetner a Posek but not a Vishnitzer Chassid.
The event is taking place in Vishnitz because parts of his family are Vishnitz.
Unfortunately, I have always neglected the Vishnitzer and should catch up. However, Vishnitz is such a wide complicated subject because so many Chassidim are related to them. It is hard finding its way through all the massive amount of information.
