I have been facing tremendous problems with Blogger lately. Especially when it comes to uploading pictures. I keep on getting the error message that a Picasa album, I don't really have, has not more free space available and if I want to upload further pictures I need to pay.

I am not willing to make such a fuss with Blogger and therefore decided, to move Shearim to Wordpress. This is still a lot of work and it won't happen within the next few hours but rather next week or so. 

I wanted to integrate the entire Blogger blog into Wordpress but this is not that easy. Too many technical issues and what I am going to do is keep the present blog but refer to my future Wordpress blog and set links. Other Blogger have done the same and it seemed to have worked out for them. 

I apologize for all those inconveniences and will soon let you know the new blog URL.

Be aware of Blog stealing YOUR content

I have been noticing it for quite a while and also informed Blogger twice. The result was that Blogger deleted a few of MY own articles which got stolen from another Blogger.

An obviously ARAB Blog publishing all kinds of stolen content as its own. Especially articles in English, German and many other languages about Jerusalem. What the Blogger (according to the profile an Arab woman) does is searching the Blogosphere for content about Jerusalem. Then she copies and pastes it over to her Blog where it says underneath the article:

Author: An Arab Name

Know that the entire Blog consists of stolen content the Arab Blogger hasn't written !

Off Topic: On People dreaming to become successful Bloggers

I am a bit off - topic but I feel like saying something about Internet Marketing Gurus and those people following them connected with the dream of becoming a successful Blogger and a Cash Cow. 

A few days ago I read a guest post on a certain blog suggesting to others to Twitter in all kinds of languages in order to draw more readers to their blogs. But what do you do if you are not fluent in Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Finish, Polish and all those languages ? Right, you put a few stupid easy sentences into Google Translation and Copy and Paste it into Twitter. This is the whole secret of success.

I do call this a lie. Cheating on your readers for success ? As a matter of fact, too many people are not ashamed of anything anymore. Marketing Gurus always give the same advice making any looser think that he can become rich and famous within a month. Most of them start their own Internet Marketing Blog or they copy and paste content from other Blogs. 

Forget about all this SEO, social media, etc. The truth about any Blog is to deliver content. If you don't have content and cheat your readers by copy / paste or lie at them, no one wants to come back to you. 

Urghhh, Content. The Gurus also tell you this but too many Blogger don't want to work and produce content but see the money floating into their accounts. 

This mentality really gets on my nerves and there is an entire Blog (I think run by some Arab) stealing content from other Bloggers. Only stolen content in any language and from any Blogger including myself. I did complain to Blogger.Com a few times and the company deleted my content from the fake Blog. However, I am tired and sick of keep on doing this every other week. But what can I say ? This is what those famous Gurus teach new Blogger but stealing alone doesn't get you anywhere.

Jewish Android Apps

I am just a one - man (woman) - blogger - show and I am always jealous when I look at other blogs publishing so many articles on a daily basis. Those blogs are only able to do so because they either deal with guest posts or have a few bloggers and not only one. Many times I am behind with all my posts but that's the way it is. 

In case I don't carry a book with me in order to read and prepare articles, I found another way of studying at almost any place. If you own an Android device, the Playstore is actually offering quite a few Jewish writings and books. From the RAMBAM to Tefilah and to the YALKUT SHIMONI Midrash. I actually just downloaded MEGILLATH ESTHER and next Purim, I don't need to carry any Megillah with me but simply pull out my Samsung. 

It is an amazing how many Jewish apps are around but the biggest choice have those who know Hebrew, as many apps are only available in Hebrew.

Haredi (Runaway) Blogs

It doesn't always have to be Sarah Einfeld's blog and her stories about running away from Chassidut GUR in Ashdod. And, by the way, Sarah hasn't been updating her blog on a regular basis for quite a while. 

By reading an article in a local Tel Aviv paper, I got to the blog of YOSSELE GOLDBERG who didn't start writing too long ago. I haven't really understood his identity. Whether he is a gay Haredi or not. What Yossele does is mentioning another gay Haredi runaway from society who killed himself about two or three weeks ago. I am going to describe the tragic incident in my following article.

Another Yossele is writing about his financial problems on his blog called YOSSELE BEGGAR. Yossele's father is deeply in debts, as he took plenty of loans in order to find respected Shidduchim for his children. When he married them off, he also bought apartments as a wedding gift. A terrible custom and mistake in many parts of haredi society. In order to marry one of once children off, the family needs money. Especially the bride's family which, many times, is contributing much more to the wedding celebrations as well as to the home of the newly married couple. 

Yossele decided to ask for Zedakah (charity) by going from house to house. 

All three blogs are in HEBREW only but you can use Google Translator !!!

Anders Behring Breivik has been preparing his attacks for the past nine Years

It is unbelievable what is going on: The so - called "liberal left - wing" media has been accusing anti - Islam bloggers of causing the Norwegian Anders Behring Breivik to freak out and kill more than 90 people. Breivik hasn't even made an official statement whether articles on the Internet caused him to carry out his two attacks but the left - wing media such as the German "Der Spiegel" (known for its anti - Israel statements as well as for its Jewish religion and Jewish Orthodoxy hatred) seem to know exactly what went on in Breivik's mind. The assassin wrote comments on the WWW and this alone turns all bloggers like FJORDMAN, GATES OF VIENNA or PAMELA GELLER into spiritual murderers. 


It looks like a vast revenge campaign going on. The left is glad that it wasn't a Muslim killing more than 90 Norwegians and now the situation is being used for a hatred campaign against bloggers warning of a global Jihad. Suddenly we are all Nazis and Nationalists and FJORDMAN was even accused of being identical with Breivik.

The latest news from Norway: Breivik has been planning his attacks for the past nine years.
Nine year ?
Who has been blogging nine years ago causing him to get those ideas into his mind ?

Technical Problems

Within the past two or three days, BLOGGER was having technical problems and thousands of BLOGSPOT users were unable to post new articles. Now everything seems to work again and we go back to normal. 

If someone has left a comment in the meantime, it can be that the comment just vanished !
