I read in the news today that Peres is agreeing to give the pope 6 sites in Israel!! Is there no way to get a protest going to protect our land?

ReplyDeleteIt may not be that simple but lets see what our dear politicians decide. If Netanyahu is getting pressure, he may give in at a certain time. We have seen this before. And SHASS has a long history of giving in as well.
Concerning Penina Taylor:
I was at her introduction ceremony at the Israel Center last year.
Since, I haven't really heard much from her. She first opened her office at the Klal Building in Jerusalem but, later on, closed it.
She is very much into her lectures. YAD LE'ACHIM, on the other hand, is doing more action. Meaning, they actually do something ! This is, why I prefer them. Maybe also because I know Benjamin Kluger.
Secondly, Penina Taylor hardly updates her site !
I used to be on her e - mail list but the only mails I received was asking me for donations. Eventually I didn't receive even mails anymore.
It may be that Penina does a lot I am simply not aware of. However, I chose to publish the general Jews for Judaism" site because there are much more information available.

From what I understand Jewish Israel is a new project with a number of people on the team.

ReplyDeleteMina Fenton, Penina Taylor, Ellen Horowitz and various bloggers is definitely correct. However, I very much doubt that YAD LE'ACHIM is actively involved in this site.
Yad Le'Achim is haredi and has its own site.
