Not always THE HAREDIM !

B”H

Surprisingly, Israel's left - wing paper HA’ARETZ has published a positive and very realistic article on the ongoing propaganda against anything ultra - Orthodox. Unfortunately, there are reports where Haredim got attacked by secular Jews. This is a shame for our country and for entire Judaism.  The same when some nutty Sikarikim attack others who don't think their way.

The Haredim and Yom Hashoah

B"H

Most Haredim do not accept the date of Israel's Holocaust Memorial Day "Yom Hashoah". One of my readers provided us with an interesting link to an article about the subject:

Is blocking Gaza good for Israel ?

B"H

Is blocking Gaza good for Israel ?

YES, definitely.
We just need to take a close look to Lebanon and its terror organization Hizbollah. How many missiles has Hizbollah recieved from Iran and Syria sinde the Second Lebanon War ? In case Israel gave in and allow any ship to reach Gaza, thousands of missiles as well as further weapons would reach the Hamas and everyone knows what that means.
Why would real peace activists refuse a search on their boat ? Israel has to protect itself and thus check any ship arriving. Afterwards the aid deliveries are being sent into the Gaza Strip.

The NEW YORK TIMES does see the point !

Rebbe Clips

B"H

Various Youtube clips showing all kinds of chassidic Rebbes. The video collection is definitely interesting, however, the commercial ads on the blog seem slightly overdone. Especially the top advertising with the Tallitot and other Judaica is extremely confusing.

Nevertheless, the idea is very simple: Take a few Youtube videos and start earning money ! :-)

Hole in the Sheet

B"H

In one of my previous article I mentioned Sarah Einfeld who ran away from the Gerrer (Gur) community in Ashdod. Some readers asked me for the exact address of Sarah's blog.

Here it is:

The blog is called "Hole in the Sheet - Chor be'Sadin" and she started writing about two years ago.

http://www.tapuz.co.il/blog/userblog.asp?pagenumber=1&passok=yes&FolderName=sdin&blogId=84721&tagname=

Despite all her writings, I would like to know the other side of the story, as there are always TWO sides !

By the way, the blog is in HEBREW ONLY !!!
