B"H
People who want to send me messages via FACEBOOK won't find me there anymore. Right before Shavuot, I deactivated my Facebook account and I am quite happy with this decision. Not, that I spent too much time wasting my time on Facebook but after a while, it just went on my nerves. Let alone the missing security.
I am going to remain on TWITTER because I prefer that site much more !

It's not an easy thing to leave Facebook without returning to the site after a couple of weeks... I was one of your contacts. I deactivated my account a couple of months ago but came back recently. It's an easy way to contact people. Yet I totally understand the fact that you left it. I also am fed up with it, it gets on my nerves too. But still, it's a way to be in touch with people, and a way to easily find people's phone numbers and e-mail addresses, and lastly the groups can be interesting. But I see people leaving Facebook more and more, the hype is over I guess. In the end, especially the "news feed" is bit childish and the site can frankly be a waste of time in a lot of cases.

ReplyDeleteI know and this is a kind of "danger". :-)
When you deactivate you Facebook account, it is not called "deleted" but "deactivated". Then you receive an e - mail that, as soon as you log in again, your account is also "activated".
Actually I got to know some people through Facebook, I have to admit and with one of them, I may loos contact, as I don't have his e - mail address. However, at the moment I don't feel like logging in again but it may be different in a few months.:-)
