"Hidden in Thunder"

An extremely important suject for me is the "role of the rabbis during the Holocaust". How did leading rabbis, chassidic rebbes or the religious Zionist (national religious) movement react ?
Is it really true that the previous Belzer Rebbe, Rabbi Aharon Rokeach, told his Chassidim in a speech given at his last European Tish, to remain in Eastern Europe ?
And is it really true that the previous Satmarer Rebbe, Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum, kept quiet when he was told about a camp called Auschwitz ? Did he keep quiet in order to avoid a panic among his Chassidim ?
Plenty of complicated questions and answers are all connected to each other and it is definitely not an easy subject. From some Chassidim I received plenty of material on how the religious Zionists treated the Chassidim during the Holocaust. A delicate role and historical facts, today's national religious movement doesn't want to hear about it anymore.
I am preparing some articles on the subject but would like to recommend a great book in advance. The book was just published last year and is called "Hidden in Thunder". The author Esther Farbstein did an immense research and her book is a valueable historical documentation.
