The Zidichover Rebbe from New York just passed away recently. He was the father of the Toldot Aharon Rebbitzen (Jerusalem).
Unfortunately, I don't have too many information about Chassidut Zidichov and whoever wants to add more is welcomed to do so.
It petered out by the 3rd generation. The first 2 rabbeim had multitudes of chassidim. The 3rd had the least and by then or soon after Europe was in pre-WWII state, with anti-Semitism rampant, much poverty, godless Zionistic influence - making life for flowering Jewry of the past a thing of the past.
ReplyDeleteThe token Rabbis of today to replace these giants hold on to these names, I suppose, just to cherish their historical ancestry.
