In Jerusalem it would be impossible, in Tel Aviv it seems to be just normal. Already some time ago, the messianics opened up their own center in downtown Tel Aviv. In Ben Yehudah Street right next to the unkosher grocery chain "Tiv Ta'am". The messianics call their center "Dugit – Messianic Outreach" but one has to pay attention what kind of people mostly sit inside behind the big glass windows. Many foreign workers from the Philippines, new Russian immigrants who are not Jewish (Israel let in too many of them) and a high percentage of the homeless. The center is known among the homeless because every Thursday, the messianic center has a soup kitchen and on other days, they give out coffee and tea for free.
Free drinks are not very common in Tel Aviv.
On its website, the center sees its goal in "harvesting Jewish souls". A vicious purpose but the needy go their because of the coffee and tea. Additionally, the center is providing housing for some of the homeless, as they have a house / or / apartment in Tel Aviv's rather posh Frishman Street. One just need to be associated with the center, keep quiet and follow the rules and the messianics provide him with a place in Frishman.
What messianic
