Picture of the Day

Seen in haredi Ge'ulah / Jerusalem.

  1. A pizzeria in a charedi neighbourhood?! Where are the sikrikim to protest? They didn't burn it yet? Ah, yes, it's because it's written "B'Hechsher HaBadatz Shel Eidah HaCharedis". I understand why they keep quiet.

By the way, on a more serious note, I cannot understand why the sikrikim always protest when a new shop open in or near Meah Shearim.

  2. B"H

There are quite a few Pizzerias in the neighbourhood and not only "Klinton".:-))) Furthermore, there are also Burger snacks and other things in the area.:-)

It depends what shop it is. The Sikarikim want to make a statement and make it clear that no one should allow men and women together into his store. There are some clothing stores like that but, otherwise, men and women shop in one store. However, there are some Falafel places where they sit separate.
