B"H
I have almost spent the entire day today in Jerusalem. As Sukkot is starting this Wednesday night, me and a friend took a trip to different Lulav markets in haredi Ge'ulah as well as in Mea Shearim. Two markets didn't let us in but we entered one market across the regular grocery market Machane Yehudah.
Walking through Ge'ulah (right next to Mea Shearim) before Sukkot is very special. The holiday atmosphere which is missing in Tel Aviv. People have been and are still building their booths (Sukkot) all over the place. Nevertheless, every year, items for the Sukkah as well as the Lulavim and Etrogim are becoming more and more expensive.
