Childless Israeli couples can receive professional help regarding fertilisation etc. "Machon Puah - the Puah Institute" in Jerusalem is famous for its halachic advice in such matters.

The national religious paper "BeSheva" reported after the recent death of the Edah HaCharedit Rabbi Me'ir Brandsdorfer, that PUAH also received rabbinic advice from him.

Thank you for the posting. Regarding Rav Mordechai Eliyahu, it was at his request that the Puah Institute was founded. He still maintains a high level of involvement with Puah and is consulted on a regular basis.
ReplyDeleteAs Miriam noted, at the Puah Institute couples receive free-of-charge counseling, helping them find the right doctor while also following halacha.
We should all be blessed with smachot.
