Surviving Home Front Drill

No running into a bomb shelter, no nothing. I didn't even have to get up from my chair.
The siren went off but at the National Library in Jerusalem (Givat Ram) everything went smooth. Only the staff went down to the bomb shelters and the public stayed behind in the reading rooms.

This was announced in advance yesterday and all of us went on with business as usual. The clerks came back after a few minutes and this was it.

However, as soon as the sirens off, we all had one thought engraved into our faces: "Hopefully this won't become real in the future !"
