The reason why I have never really mentioned too much about Chassidut Chernobyl is simple: Chernobyl is complicated. The Twerski family is huge and who knows who is who when not being born into chassidic society ? Furthermore, Chernobyl has plenty of split - offs due to many children of different Rebbes: Rachmastrivka, Skver and others.
An acquaintance of mine is getting married to a Chassidim form Chernobyl after Shavuot. She told me that the Kretchnifer Rebbitzen from Jerusalem is a close relative (I forgot if it was daughter or sister) of the Rebbe of Chernobyl.
The Chernobyl Rebbe does give many Tishes but since Pessach he does so in his Beit Midrash in Bnei Brak and not necessarily in Jerusalem.
