The Madonna House in Zfat (Safed)

Who knew that MADONNA is building a house in Zfat (Safed) ? However, construction work is stuck due to problems with the Municipality. 

The most vital issue is that Madonna apparently bought a property near the road leading down to the famous Zfat cemetery. The location can be found in the old city and is considered a part of a haredi neighbourhood. Karlin - Stolin has its Synagogue right around the corner and so do other chassidic groups.

The religious inhabitants of the old city want anything but Madonna with her false kabbalistic spleen. Only a few walls have been built so far and the locals just call it "The Madonna House". Those who presently live in the ruin are the homeless who are spreading out some mattresses and blankets. Nothing spiritual but a place to sleep.
