Christian Missionaries and their Lies

B"H

They come, lie to Israeli Jews and pretend being part of a conversion course to Judaism. Afterwards they slowly slowly start spreading their real message: The believe in the false Meshiach J. or in other words: Idol – worship.
If the conversion course lie is too inconvenient, they claim straight away to be Jewish.

Christian missionaries usually love the second possibility - Claiming to be Jewish. They men wear a Kipa and Zizit and they think that they look so Jewish now. What they cannot change is their Christian look and behaviour. A religious Jew usually recognizes these fakes from far away, as I did with a Christian family which just recently moved into the highest building in Jerusalem's Agrippas Street 111 right across the Machane Yehudah Market. So far, this particular family seems to only give idol – worship classes to Christians but I have just been waiting for their missionary attempt.

Despite the great work of Israel's anti – missionary organization YAD LE'ACHIM, missionaries keep on their vicious mission. They like to use Jewish expressions such as "Baruch Hashem" in order to convince other Jews that also Jews can believe in the false Meshiach J. The churches have been faking the Torah as well as the Book of Prophets for centuries. Mistranslations done on purpose in order to keep up the lie about the false Meshiach J.

In most cases, Christian missionaries don't approach religious Jews, as then their lies fall apart. They rather prefer secular Jews who have no idea about their own religion. In particular they hate Haredim and anything connected to them. John Hagee from the Evangelists used to state that because the Jews didn't follow G – d's will (converting to Christianity) the Nazis punished them by putting them into the gas chambers. The Holocaust was a G – dly punishment for the Jews for not believing in Christendom.

  1. Nice article; I agree with everything you said. These missionaries will stop at nothing to convert Jews.

However, I believe you're mistaken about John Hagee. He did once say that Jews have suffered persecution and opposition since the days of Canaan for turning away "from the one true God" and falling into idolatry (this theme runs through much of the Tanakh). He didn't say it was because they rejected Jesus. Another time he said God sent Hitler to do what Herzl could't - send the Jews back to their homeland. This one was a little more controversial, of course. But again, not because of their rejection of Jesus. You can find at least one rabbi who speculated the same thing in trying to understand how a loving, omnipotent God could allow something as horrendous as the Holocaust.

Does John Hagee condemn the Jews for not accepting Jesus? On the contrary, Hagee has long been accused of teaching what most Christians view as a heresy - Dual Covenant Theology. In an interview with the Houston Chronicle way back in 1988 (Julia Duin, "San Antonio Fundamentalist Battles Anti-Semitism," 30 April 1988), Hagee stated the following:

John Hagee, fundamentalist pastor from San Antonio and friend of Israel, is truly a strange fish... The man has a mission. He’s out to attack anti-Semitism. He also believes that Jews can come to God without going through Jesus Christ.

"I’m not trying to convert the Jewish people to the Christian faith."

In fact, trying to convert Jews is a "waste of time," he said. "The Jewish person who has his roots in Judaism is not going to convert to Christianity. There is no form of Christian evangelism that has failed so miserably as evangelizing the Jewish people. They (already) have a faith structure." Everyone else, whether Buddhist or Baha’i, needs to believe in Jesus, he says. But not Jews. Jews already have a covenant with God that has never been replaced by Christianity, he says.

"I believe that every Jewish person who lives in the light of the Torah, which is the word of God, has a relationship with God and will come to redemption."

"The law of Moses is sufficient enough to bring a person into the knowledge of God until God gives him a greater revelation. And God has not," said Hagee.

"There are right now Jewish people on this earth who have a powerful and special relationship with God," declares Hagee in one of his books. "They have been chosen by the 'election of grace' in which God does what he does without asking man to approve or understand it. Let us put an end to the Christian chatter that 'all the Jews are lost' and can't be in the will of God until they convert to Christianity! . . . There are a certain number of Jews in relationship with God right now through divine election."

Christian Research Institute has expressed concern about this unorthodox view held by Hagee:

"Information about Hagee from other sources reveals he seriously differs with the vast majority of dispensational teachers because he believes that Jewish people do not need to be saved, since they are under a different covenant."

Hagee was given the "Humanitarian of the Year" award by the San Antonio Council of B'nai B'rith.

Hagee's latest book, "In Defense of Israel", caused an uproar among "Messianic Jews" and other Christians. It is shocking indeed coming from a Christian pastor, because in the book he goes so far as to say that "it was not God's will, nor his (Jesus') for him to be the Messiah" and "the gospel was from Israel, not to Israel" among other things.

I'm not crazy about the guy myself, but let's do our research before we lump him with other evangelicals. His friend, Rabbi Aryeh Scheinberg of Rodfei Shalom Congregation in San Antonio, says that for the 30 years he's known Hagee he's made it a practice not to evangelize Jews.

John Hagee is one of the biggest anti - Semites we find today and we don't need to do much research on that.

I was really thinking about deleting your comment of a Hagee fan justifying a missionary who is just using the Jews in order to bring the false Meshiach J.
Promoting Christian idol - worship in Israel. Trying to buy himself into Jewish communities and, unfortunately, there are Rabbis taking the money from Evangelists. You don't have to list names because I am writing from the viewpoint of Haredim and not the corrupt national religious or conservative movements.
Actually the Israeli national religious movement with Rabbi Shlomo Aviner had a congress about two weeks ago deciding that it is against Halacha taking money from Christian Zionists.

Hagee and Christian Zionism at all has a firm agenda:

Bringing the Jews back to Israel, convert as many as possible to Christianity in order to cause a second coming.

Instead of spreading your Christian idol worship and complement one of the most greatest Jewhaters you should rather look into the Seven Noachide Laws !

  3. Thanks for posting my comment and responding. Actually, I'm a proud Jew who never could stand Christianity. I don't care if they worship rocks to be honest; what I hate is that they have the nerve to call us Jews "unbelievers" (as if believing in HaShem counts for nothing) because we don't accept their man-god. And the fact that they twist our holy scriptures to fit their theology. Plus their long-held belief that their religion superceded ours (something Hagee condemns). But I don't hate every individual Christian. I need to see evidence that Hagee himself promotes evangelism in Israel or anywhere else. I've only heard the opposite. I saw a video posted by an anti-Hagee person that showed where all his money to Israel is going. Apparently, this anti-Hagee person must have been from the Peace Now camp or other far left group, because Hagee donated money to the Gush Katif refugees. The rest went to various medical services, the Jewish Agency and Jewish heritage centers run by Orthodox. It all looked pretty kosher to me. I'm sure if any of his contributions went to a nefarious organization, they wouldn't have hesitated to put that in there.

I'm not complimenting anybody, just giving quotes that seem to indicate this guy is not a Jew-hater. I mean, what Christian (particular the evangelical kind) would say that the Torah is sufficient for any Jew to have a relationship with God? If you know Christianity and it's basic theology going back to the NT itself, that is unheard of. Tovia Singer seems to think the guy's heart is in the right place, and he's been fighting missionaries for years. It is a shame, though, that evangelical Christians are the only friends that Israel seems to have right now. I wish that were not the case. It's truly sad.

There is plenty information available on the Internet how John Hagee finances national religious settlements in Israel. Unfortunately, the national religious movement in Israel has become very dependent on Christian donation money and is not ashamed at all accepting it. According to the Israeli newspaper "Yediot Acharonot" from last Wednesday, the settlement Alon Shvut built its new Beit Midrash with the help of Hagee's money.

And, unfortunately, I heard Tuvia Singer at one of his lectures saying, that he thinks that Hagee has changes his opinions to the better. However, Tuvia Singer seems to get mixed up with different Christian leaders from time to time and no one took this kind of statement too serious. Singer may know a lot about how to encouter Christian missionaries but sometimes he is loosing his overview. Meaning that Hagee has still the same vicious goal.

  5. As an individual who is in the process of conversion, and I say process because there is much to learn, I read this and felt as if I had been punched in the stomach. I did not grow up a religious person. And when I finally had an answer to my prayers and found G_ds Torah as a light shining in my dark life I have to hear about people pretending to be converts in order to push their idolotrous beliefs on H_shems people. Maybe it is selfish of me to say so but I really had to choke back tears as I thought that I might be considered insincere about wanting to convert. My comfort is in the Torah. With the words of wise and holy people as a strong line to ground me and G_d who is One to Anchor me. And i shall succeed, b'ezrat hashem. L'Shalom!

You are talking like a Christian missionary but not like a sincere convert to Judaism.

So, choke your tears now or let it be !

  7. I will choke then because I will never give up! If I sound like a christian missionary it is unintentional because I have never been christian and know pretty much nothing about the subject. I use the word convert because it seems to be the blanket term for gentiles who want to study Torah regarless of their background. G_d is one and my strength comes from him. Thank you for your time Miriam. Your message has inspired me to redouble my efforts. Rabbi Mendy Hecht wrote,The convert is considered a full fledged Jew and standard Ahavat Yisrael, (love of a fellow Jew) in all its detailed glory, applies to him as well.

Additionally, there are two more mitzvahs specifically for treating converts: "You shall love the proselyte",1 and "You shall not oppress a proselyte".2

Why the extra mitzvahs? Because if you’re born Jewish, you didn’t have a choice. But when someone crosses over from wherever to Judaism, they just might be a little insecure. Help the convert feel comfortable and welcome by stretching yourself out just a little more than you ordinarily would.
It seems to me as if you need to pray about this and ask yourself what issue you really have. Because it sounds to me like bigotry.
Having said that I bear you no ill will hope that you will not bear a grudge if I am wrong.I have to prove my devotion to H_shem, not to a Woman on the internet. L'Shalom Miriam, I wish for you all of the best things in this world, but I will pray that you will follow G-ds law and not the ones that you have apparently set for yourself.

I find it very interesting that it is always the missionaries (disguised as Jews) complaining about counter missionary articles.:-)
