Nineteen Jews were killed when an Arab mob stormed into a Synagogue in the northern town of Tiberias (Sea of Galilee) in 1938. One of the eye - witnesses talking in the below video says that it was a miracle that not 60 or 70 Jews were killed.
When the Arabs run into the Synagogue while the Jews were praying they took out their rifles and started shooting at anything moving. Afterwards they burnt the dead bodies and were wildly dancing and singing around. Nothing has changed since then and if there was an opportunity for killing more Jews, many Palestinians would just jump on it.
The following video is in Hebrew only and eye - witnesses report about what they saw and about hearing the shots. Unfortunately, none of the Jewish bystanders had a gun and, thus no one was able to actively help.
