A STREIMEL is made of 24 of those animals (see picture below). I don't know the name of the animal but do you really feel comfortable wearing such a Streimel ?
No, I am not one of those animal protection activists but do so many animals have to be killed for a Streimel ?

Some things I cannot put into my German blogs because people wouldn't understand or draw the wrong conclusions.
I am sorry to say this but that's the way it is.
a people who have suffered throughout the ages should not be contributing to the suffering of any living being, human or animal. it is a shame on all of us that these are worn especially since they are of goy origin from Europe!
ReplyDeleteIs the animal a fischer,looks alot like a mink.I too think it looks better on the animal.Whats with the absolute perfect combing up it gets.Even flicks.And Im told the furrier colour matches to the new wearers colouring!!!!Getting all a little vain ,don't you think?
