Too many kids talking tonight at the Megillah reading. More shuls should learn from Toldos Aharon, and give the father a fine if the child talks three times. Just kidding. But that's really what they do!
I know it that, as soon as the word Haman is coming up and the kids make noise, the reader of the Megillah takes a break and only continues when the noise is gone.:-)
After years of living in Jerusalem, I decided to betray the city by moving to Tel Aviv.:-) In the meantime I returned to the Holy City. It is actually very good to be back in Jerusalem !!!
Nevertheless, I am still writing about Jerusalem but also include many other places in Israel.
Until some years ago, I was a Yeshiva (Michlalah) student. First with the national religious and later with the Litvishe. Also got in contact with Chassidut and this subject and lifestyle has never left me.

ReplyDeleteThat's true and I am not looking forward to the Megillah !
I may go to the Toldot Aharon if the weather is not too bad. Otherwise I jump over to Ruzhin - Boyan !
I don't know if this Takana also applies on Purim.:-)))))
It probably applies more on Purim when you have to hear every word!
