The Great Synagogue (right) with the HEICHAL SHLOMO in King George Street. Until some years ago, the Heichal Shlomo served as the headquarter of Israel's Chief Rabbinate (Rabbanut) but today, it includes a restaurant and the building is used for special events such as lectures or concerts. A second restaurant (used for wedding meals) is located underneath the Great Synagogue
