Yes, definitely ! No doubt about that. No one is watching over me not even the Halacha. I am using my free will. At least for a while.
How about new friends ? Secular friends ?
So far, just on an artificial basis. They listen to my stories from the past but after a while they want me to change the subject. They listen but do not understand.
How could they ?
So, what is left ?
Starting a new life is not as easy as putting some Halachot aside !
