Kashering for Pessach

Before Pessach, many religious Jews start kashering their pots and pans in order to burn out the last Chametz (forbidden grains on Pessach). No nudel no nothing should still stick somewhere in a pot. Others even prefer buying new dishes and pots.

Here are a few pictures from Bnei Brak and Mea Shearim where the kashering process is taking place publically. In religious neighbourhoods the kashering service is being offered for a small amount of money.
