An Enemy called MISSIONARY

Last Friday night (Erev Shabbat) I finally went to the Shabbat meal with Rabbi Mordechai Machlis. I hadn't been there for a while and was very much looking forward to it.

With a friend and far more than 50 other people, I was waiting in front of the Machlis door. Usually the Rabbi himself opens and wishes everyone "Shabbat Shalom". We were excited being there but suddenly a German Christian tour group was just marching around the corner. Although totally Christian looking, they had announced that they were Jewish and only two would be not.

Many Germans suffer from the "Philosemitic Syndrom". Due to their past, they love Jews simply because they are Jews and not because of everyone's individual nature or personality. Maybe the group including their guide were such philosemites or they just didn't want to be referred to as German Gentiles whose ancestors may have had a Nazi past. The result was that they started inventing a Jewish identity and introduced themselves as Jews. This drives me nuts, I have to say. The same when German Gentiles give themselves Jewish or Israeli names on the Internet. Especially on Facebook where a German "Andreas" turns into "Yaron.

I wan't able to face those liers on Friday night and my friend and me decided to leave before the door was even opened. We didn't feel any desire looking into a Christian "I feel so sorry for you and the Holocaust" smile and we left the scene. However, we felt very sorry for Rabbi Machlis who was overrun by such Gentile liers.



Changing the scene:

The National Religious Movement is organizing an anti - missionary congress for Tuesday next week (6 Tishrei).
Location: Jerusalem's Binyane'i HaUma.
Time: 19.00 - 22.30 / 7pm - 10.30pm.
Speakers: Rabbi Shlomo Aviner, Rabbi Yehudah Deri as well as the Chief Rabbi of Kiryat Shemona, Rabbi Zephania Drori. Additional speaker will be the founder and chirman of the Israeli anti - missionary organization "YAD LE'ACHIM", Rabbi Dov Lipshitz. Subject of the congress: "Should the national religious movement accept donations from Christian organizations?"

For quite some time, national religious rabbis have been trying to change their point of view. From accepting donations to speak out against the acceptance. Christians have been donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to the national religious and now demand their rights: They want to participate. Get in in order to missionize ! Finally Rabbis such as Shlomo Aviner become aware of the Christian danger.

I am going to the congress and will write about it !



Congress ? Why now ?

Because the missionaries are streaming right into our country at the moment. Thousands of fanatic Christians and missionaries are going to participate in the "Feast of the Tabernacle" during the JEWISH Sukkot. On September 28, a parade through downtown Jerusalem is going to take place where Christians want to show their "Israel Support". Nevertheless, the main goal is "Missionizing Jews" in order to cause a "second coming" of a false Meshiach (a dead Jews). The International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem is organizing the march and financial help is coming from the missionary in the US.

The Christians usually come before Sukkot in order to sneak into Jewish events on Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur. They push themselves in, you cannot get rid of them and allthey want is a free meal at Jewish Shabbat meals. They hand out missionary material and give out sweet to haredi children. Little candy bars with J. pictures inside. Vicious but they see missionizing Jews as their mission.

For the past years, Israel's haredi Rabbis have been called for a boycott of the Christian Parade during Sukkot. A march full of missionaries whose goals are anything but pro - Israel ! Nevertheless, I will be there, make pictures and put all the missionaries on the net !
