The Lubavitcher Rebbe & The Christian "Jew"

It is unbelievable that the Jew who converted to Christianity handed the Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson a Christian missionary book. The Rebbe said to him that, hopefully, the REAL Meshiach will come soon ! Then the Rebbe took the missionary book and stated that it is better when he takes it, as the Christian passing it on to another Jew.

The Rebbe did the right thing and threw the missionary book into the garbage.

  1. What exactly is your concern about Christians missionising to Jews?? They have been doing it for literally millenia and their success rate has only ever been negligible in the extreme.

Honestly, converting to Christianity and then going to the Lubavitcher or any kind of Rebbe in order to hand him a missionary book is a kind of sick in my eyes.

  5. Avi we HAVE to be concerned over such behaviour. And if a Jew were to convert to another faith... This person is still Jewish!

This man's behaviour was highly inappropriate.

How can you ask such a question? We must be concerned when a Jew is led to follow an idolatrous path which will sever him/her from his/her people. As the Tallmud says: "Kol Yisroel Arevim Zeh LaZeh", All the Jews are all responsible for each other. When a Jew is led astray, this is not HIS own problem, but OUR national problem. And we must protest and educate other Jews to be careful when confronted to predators who chase their souls to be sold to Avodah Zarah.
