Suffering through the Tel Aviv Heat

Photo: Miriam Woelke

A heat wave is conquering Israel today and for the rest of the week. 36 degrees Celsius, meaning something like almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Israel's electric company "Chevrat HaChashmal" has announced not to exaggerate the use electricity like turning on all fans in the whole house. Otherwise the electric system may fail when too many people turn on everything at the same time.

The Tel Aviv beach won't provide you with a cool breeze because of the extremely high humidity. It may be much more refreshing being in Jerusalem this week.:-)

  1. NYC is also in the midst of a Heatwave as well.

Last year we have temperatures averaging 38 degrees Celsius for 11 days straight.

I have read about NYC and we can both suffer together.:-))))
