  1. why are the mishkenos haroim such kannoim, given that the previous rebbe (Binyamin Rabinowitz) was a hasid of the boyaner rebbe, and the present boyaner rebbe seems extremely moderate, at least in the hassidishe/hareidi context ?

A Boyaner Chassid once told me that Rebbe Rabinowitz was not allowed to have public relations to his family in Boyan.

You hardly hear anything from the Mishkenot HaRoim but more from Yoelish Kroisz and his Neturei Karta branch. Kroisz seems to meet everyone just in order to get some publicity. Just recently, he met a secular singer showing him around in Mea Shearim. Both were accompanied by Shmuel Pappenheim, by the way.

On the one hand, the Edah speaker and Kroisz want to be so much Kannaim (and the TA and the Neturei Karta don't even like each other too much), but, on the other hand they meet and try to get publicity.

The Mishkenot HaRoim keep quiet. Why they are such Kannaim ? Because its their policy. I am just asking myself whether their members belong to the Sikarikim or whether it is just the Neturei Karta.

The present Mishkenot Rebbe receives everyone at his Tish. Litvishe guys, regular visitors with a black Kipa on, young Yeshiva students. They very much stick to themselves, don't have too many events where women are allowed in. If the Rebbe doesn't give a Tish on Erev Shabbat, he asks his followers to gather for some Torah learning.

  3. "A Boyaner Chassid once told me that Rebbe Rabinowitz was not allowed to have public relations to his family in Boyan."

I don't understand what this means

This means that Rabinowitz actually has a Boyan background and didn't only study there.

  5. sorry but i still don't understand:

who didn't allow him to do what ?

'was not allowed' by whom ?

'to have public relations to his family in Boyan.' he couldn't tell the world he was from a boyaner family ? if so, why ?

Rebbe Rabinowitz was told not to appear with his Boyan family openly, as Boyan is not anti - Zionist.

  7. who told him not to appear with his Boyan family openly -- the edah hehareidis ? members of mishkenos haroim ? but he was the mishkenos haroim rebbe !!!

The Mishkenot, I suppose. They do have their rules when you belong to them. The same in Toldot Aharon because their members are not allowed to have friends from outside the group.

  9. what i don't understand is how could the members of mishkenos tell their rebbe what to do ? in chassidus ia not the rebbe all powerful ?

You would be sursprised about the conditions some Sheyne Yidden give to their Rebbe.

    Shabbat Shalom
